Vets on Eyre was established in 2012 by Dr Greg Sezun and Dr Annie Forrest. They began their partnership to provide Port Lincoln and the surrounding district with an ‘all animals’ veterinary service employing just 3 people. Since then the business has grown rapidly and now proudly employs a total of 12 people. Vets on Eyre is a true mixed practice where our professionals can see all types of pets, from budgies to buffalo and many more! Our emphasis is on providing a personal, friendly service and we always go the extra mile to provide a positive outcome for our clients and their pets.
Dr Annie Forrest is now a Senior Vet practicing 3 days a week, having sold her share of the business to Practice Manager Lisa Wiseman in 2016. Dr Greg Sezun has retained his share of the business and practices as Senior Vet 3 days a week also. The Veterinary team is completed with full time junior associate Dr Issy Jackway.
Our entire staff will care for your animals as much as you do. We are on-call 24 hours a day – just phone the clinic for the after-hours phone number of the vet on call. Our versatile, caring and personalised service sets us apart.
Vets On Eyre are proud supporters of Making A Difference Cat Rescue And Adoptions. We assist this very worthwhile organisation with de-sexing, vaccinating and treating the cats and kittens in their care, while waiting to find their forever homes.
Dr Greg Sezun specialises in equine services including dentistry, gelding, ultrasound and acupuncture. Other services include freeze branding, endoscopy, pathology, joint injections, micro-chipping, nerve block, pregnancy testing, digital X-rays, ECG scanning, pre-race vet checks, drenching, and more.
Dr Sezun travels throughout the Eyre Peninsula several times a year to carry out routine equine services and procedures such as geldings, dentistry, vaccinations and more for those clients who find it difficult to travel. He also travels to attend calvings and conduct cattle pregnancy testing and other similar procedures.
